Château Lafite Rotschild Dinner

The "Lafite Rothschild Dinner", was an evening dedicated to the finest wines and culinary delights.

This exclusive event took place at Raffles London, an exquisite destination which as recent as in September this year, opened its doors to the public. The privileged members of Melchior Club, were amongst the first to experience the enchantment of this legendary hotel. The Raffles London is located in the former War Office building, now known as The OWO. Legends such as Sir Winston Churchill and Lord Haldane have lived here. Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, was a regular visitor to the building and many scenes from the 007 films were shot here. The building's history is associated with spies and espionage, with MI5 and MI6 conducting operations here throughout the 20th century. Located in the heart of Whitehall, it has been meticulously restored and is now home to the Raffles London at The OWO, an epic venue for modern trendsetters.

Hosted by Jean Sebastien Philippe, the International Director of Domaines Barons De Rothschild, this event created an unforgettable experience that showcased the excellence and heritage of Château Lafite Rothschild. All wines were served in Magnums. The selection included Château Lafite Rothschild 1995, 2005, 1978, and 1988.
